OP:DESERT KNIGHT

After the stalemate at Jackal, both the Separatist and Republic forces have come to a steady halt in their efforts. A few months passed with little to no conflict, but that hatred was still brewing, and bloodshed was inevitable. A small country in what was former Algeria has remained neutral throughout the war. They have decided it was time to join the war, but which side would they fight for? Leaders on both sides now desperately rush to the country to try and persuade the people to join their causes. Algeria would be a strong front for the Republic to gain access to Africa, while the Separatist could use it as an invasion point into southwestern Europe. This is one focal point that neither side can afford to lose. The Separatists forces already have a strong foothold on Africa, and because of that they are the first to arrive in the country. They quickly began putting together their defenses to await the Republic. Republic: You are your fellow soldiers must infiltrate the country and attempt to communicate with the local leader, Abdul Jal. Getting him on your side will lead to a Republic victory in the country. Push the Separatists forces out of this country, they do not belong here! Separatists: Dig in deep and keep those Republic scum away from your claim. While you hold off their forces make sure to help the locals with whatever they need, that will be the best way to win their support. Hold capture points, capture SAM sites, and complete objectives given to you both by your CO’s, and the Algerian leader. It’s going to be a long and bloody conflict, so keep up the fight, dig in deep, and don’t give the enemy any leeway!
